Many imported items from Cambodia enjoy preferential tax rates of 0%

On November 20, 2019, the Government issued Decree 92/2019 / ND-CP on special preferential import tariff schedules to implement the Vietnam – Cambodia Agreement for the period 2019-2020.

Accordingly, imported goods originating from Cambodia in the list attached to Appendix I of this Decree are subject to the particularly preferential import tax rate of 0%; includes a number of items of such groups:

  • Group of live poultry products, including types of chickens of Gallus domesticus, ducks, geese, geese, chickens and pheasants.
  • Group of meat and edible by-products of slaughter, poultry of heading 01.05, fresh, chilled or frozen.
  • Citrus fruits, fresh or dried: yellow lime and lime.
  • Group of bakery goods, pastry, baked goods, cookies and other cakes, whether or not containing cocoa; holy cakes, capsule capsules used in pharmacy, sealing wafer, cakes and similar products.

Decree 92/2019 / ND-CP takes effect from January 6, 2020 to December 31, 2020.
