Ordinary import duty rate applicable to crude petroleum oils shall be reduced to 0%

The Prime Minister issues the Decision no. 28/2019/QD-TTg amending and supplementing Article 2 of the Decision No. 45/2017 / QD-TTg dated November 16, 2017 of the Prime Minister amending and supplementing Decision No. 36/2016 / QD- TTg of September 1, 2016 of the Prime Minister stipulating the application of ordinary tax rates to imported goods.

This Decision is to reduce the ordinary import duty rate (Non-MFN) applicable to crude petroleum oils (HS 2709.00.10) from 5% to 0%.

In addition, this Decision also amend description of some goods items in the Non-MFN Tariff such as: Banknotes; Derricks; Machinery for preparation of food; Machining centres; Machinery for extraction of oils; Information storage devices; Lamps; and Instruments for medical use.

This Decision takes effect from November 1, 2019.
